This website is in addition to a Yahoo group of the same name (tgnwarkansas). There is also a Facebook page, and group, NWA Transgender, available. Our desire is to give Trans people a place to meet other Trans people and receive the support that they are looking for. We also hope to offer a social enviroment so that those comfortable enough to get out in public dont have to go alone. For those of you that live in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area, The NWA Center for Equality has a Transgender Peer Support group on the last Sunday of each month. Visit the website for specifics.

Our specific coverage area encompasses the north western corner of Arkansas and surrounding area. This basicly means southwest Missouri,north eastern and eastern Oklahoma, extreme south east Kansas and most of Arkansas north of the Arkansas River and West of Us 65. This does not mean that we will refuse anyone due to their location. We are still willing to lend whatever support we can to you.
